RailMaster™ Railyard Management Software

Apex Rail Automation developed its proprietary RailMaster™ railyard control software. The software is used with our Modular Yard Automation (MYA) system to link together electronic modules that control and monitor railyard switches.

RailMaster™ features a dynamic Graphic User Interface (GUI) that allows users to throw switches, initiate pre-programed routes, and monitor railyard activity from a remote dispatch center. 

Our software allows controller to add “stacked” routes whereby the controller enters a list of train movements into the system and then cycles through each one of them by pressing the “Advance” button or automatically when RailMaster™ detects the previous movement has been completed.
